Starting today, we challenge ourselves and each one of you to hit the goal of 10,000 steps a day until January 1st! With the holidays in full swing, we all tend to consume extra calories, and let go of some of our exercise routines because we are so busy. Hitting 10,000 steps a day is a healthy and achievable goal. What are some ways we can achieve this goal? Here are a few we came up with that don’t include going to the gym, taking an exercise class, etc.:
- Going for a walk on your lunch break
- Taking the stairs
- Doing laps around the inside of your house, while having a phone conversation
- Chasing your kids
- Putting your Apple Watch on your kid (kidding)
