Christmas Cookies

Chocolate Chip Cookies (Nestle Toll House):

Today is the day that I am bunkering down and baking Christmas cookies! I worked out this morning, which means I can be my own taste-tester! Now, I am not a great baker, so I don’t go crazy with my cookie choices. I usually bake 3-4 kinds for family and friends: Chocolate Chip, Oatmeal Chocolate Chip, White Chocolate Cranberry, and M&M’s. My two favorites are the original Chocolate Chip and the White Chocolate Cranberry cookies. See the recipes below!

Ingredients

1/4 cups all-purpose flour

    1 teaspoon baking soda

      1 teaspoon salt

        1 cup butter, softened

          3/4 cup granulated sugar

            3/4 cup packed brown sugar

              1 teaspoon vanilla extract

                2 large eggs

                  2 cups NESTLE(R) TOLL HOUSE(R) Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels

                    Instructions

                    Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

                      Combine flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.

                        Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.

                          White Chocolate Cranberry Cookies

                          Ingredients

                          1/4 cups all-purpose flour

                            1 teaspoon baking soda

                              1 teaspoon salt

                                1 cup butter, softened

                                  3/4 cup granulated sugar

                                    3/4 cup packed brown sugar

                                      1 teaspoon vanilla extract

                                        2 large eggs

                                          2 cups NESTLE(R) TOLL HOUSE(R) White Chocolate Morsels

                                            1 ½ cups of dried cranberries

                                              Instructions

                                              Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
