Most of us think… “Dinner…ugh. Do I really have time for that? Isn’t it just easier to get take out? Yes, but it is healthier? Is it cheaper?” The answer is most likely, no. Well, you are in luck because we have compiled some of our favorite slow-cooker recipes that are bound to be family favorites! We both have toddlers, and even they would eat most of them… if we tell them they are waffles. HA! A few times we got the dreaded, “Ummm… I don’t like that!”, but in the end it was still a win for us!
First up we have Buffalo Chicken Lettuce Wraps. These are SO easy and so delicious! Our toddlers don’t eat these because of the spiciness, but they are guaranteed to make your bellies feel full and warm. The best part… there are only FOUR ingredients! Link to our recipe is listed above.

Next up is Chicken Tortilla Soup . Even though we are getting into the warmer months of the year, who doesn’t love a good soup recipe? This recipe has a few more ingredients than the first recipe, but it also very simple. It is also great for making extra for lunches the following week.

Ok… who loves tacos?! We do, we do! We made the most amazing recipe that combined some of our favorite taco ingredients. The only thing missing is the taco shell, but who needs that? Everyone knows the best stuff is what’s inside! Let us present to you, Taco Chicken Bowls. These were a family favorite, which has to same something if a picky toddler is eating it.

Last one, guys! We thought we’d change it up a bit and offer a breakfast recipe. We know a lot of people don’t eat breakfast because they don’t have time… well, no more excuses because this slow-cooker recipe will save you time! Steel Cut Oats was a great change-up to our normal breakfast. What is so great about this recipe (besides being easy) is that you can make them how you want with the toppings of your choice. We chose honey, cinnamon, walnuts and craisins for our first batch, but will definitely try some new flavors next time.

All of the recipes we included have two main things in common: EASY and HEALTHY. As working moms, easy and healthy recipes are of most importance. We don’t have a ton of free time to spend in the kitchen, and we don’t want to fill our families with junk. A healthy mommy is a happy mommy, are we right?!
We hope you enjoy these recipes as much as we do! We also hope they free up some of your time. We love healthy eating, so if you have any recipes you want to share with us, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
Enjoy!
