Name: Water And Rock Studio
Location: Quakertown, PA
Instructor: Dawn – she was so great! We loved her determination in trying to make sure we were in proper form, when the majority of us were focused on the kittens, rather than form! LOL. You could tell she is so passionate with what she does, and we would definitely take another one of her classes.
Exercise Type: Kitten Yoga – We have taken Goat Yoga before, so we thought we knew what to expect. We were wrong! As much as we loved goat yoga, kitten yoga takes the cake . When we entered, we were immediately attracted to the sound of little kitten meows. OMG they were so cute! We both melted at the sight of them. We both have cats of our own, so we’d say we are “cat people,” but even that being said, nothing could prepare us for being surrounded by little itty bitty kittens. There were about 5 kittens and a mommy cat roaming free as we practiced. Our yoga game was pretty weak because we were so focused on the kittens, but we think that is probably the point of kitten yoga. We felt happy! We were in good moods for the rest of the day. Just as exercise releases endorphins, try getting an hour to practice your yoga moves AND snuggle little kittens! This was a win for us.
