For the past few months, I have been going to Courtney’s 1:00 PM Sunday Yoga Sculpt class. I was first attracted to this class because it is a great time for me and my family. My daughter usually naps around 2:00 PM, so I am not really missing too much time with her. AND my husband has to put her down for a nap, and read her the 20,000 books she requests. Now, I come back every week because Courtney is amazing! The flow and speed of her class keeps me on my toes, and challenges me week after week. I am finally getting down the yoga lingo too!
I’ve talked with Courtney on occasion about how I am not a true “yoga” person because it is normally too slow for me. The reason I keep coming to her class is because it is not slow in the least bit! We do our chaturanga’s so quickly that by my last one, my triceps are shaking. That’s how I like to practice yoga!
One of the best things about having this blog, is all of the wonderful people we get to meet. We recently connected with another incredible mom and workout fanatic, Leslie, and we knew we had to meet her. She expressed an interest in taking a class with us. After talking to her more, and understanding her interests, we agreed that yoga sculpt at Corepower Yoga – English Village would be the best place for her to try first. Luckily, she loved the class and Courtney as much as I do! Thank you so much, Leslie, for joining me!
