Looking For A Unique Exercise Class? Unique + Fit Is The Place For You!

A unique exercise class for everyone. This class has it all!

Name: Unique + Fit

Location: Sellersville, PA

Instructor: Stacy (owner)

Exercise Type: “Prepare yourself because you might not be able to walk for a few days.”

HIIT/Tabata – Stacy had a Halloween theme to class. There were 10 stations set up, and written on a board. Each station had 2 exercises. The first exercise was done for 31 seconds, and the second was done for 13 seconds (Get it… 31 seconds for Halloween being on October 31st, and 13 seconds for Friday the 13th). Each exercise in the station was done 5 times. This might sound like a lot, but we promise you that it FLEW by.

Stacy broke us up into pairs, and assigned us a station to start with.  Some of the stations included lunges, squats with bands, punches with a weighted bag, bicep curls, tricep work, planks (including side planks), over the head presses with a weighted bag, suicide sprints holding a weight bag, etc.

Place: Studio/gym

Day of the Week: Saturday

Time: 9:00 AM; approximately an hour. One of the funny things Stacey said, when we asked how long class is, “However long it takes you to complete the exercises… could be more or less than an hour.”  We have never gotten that response before, and we were cracking up!

Price: First class is FREE; Drop-in is $15; packages and memberships available

What to Wear: T-shirt/Tank Top; Leggings/Shorts; Sneakers

What to Bring: Water; boxing gloves – if you don’t have these, there are a few pairs you can borrow.

What is Provided: Everything needed for the workout

Level of Experience: All

Gender Majority: Female, but Stacey said there are a good bit of male members

Age Group: All – We saw two young girls in their teens all the way up to people in their 50’s.

WOW! So Welcoming!

Not only was Stacey welcoming, she spent SO much time with us during and after class.

Cleanliness: Yes.

Unique Features: Some of the exercises were unique.  For example, we had to do suicide sprints, which was very different from the ones we did in highschool, with a duffle bag filled with sand over our shoulders.  Hands down, this was the hardest exercise. We felt like we weren’t even moving LOL.

You are going to hate Sally.

The other unique part was at the end of class. Stacy asked who “Liked Sally.”  Huh? Who’s Sally? We learned very quickly that we did not care for Sally very much. Stacey played this song Flowers, and every time they said “Bring Sally down” we did and held a squat until they said “Bring Sally up.”  Good lord. This was hard, but equally as funny! We were all laughing, maybe crying, during it.

Thank you so much for having us! Your class was so challenging and fun, all at the same time.  You worked our whole body, and left us sore (in a good way) for days! We can’t wait to come back and try another class! If you are in the Sellersville area, make sure you check them out!
